Laura Hillman, Equine Professional, EAP I
Laura has been an ardent student of horses her entire life. Her first memories are
of the horses on "the other side of the fence" when she lived in Germany. She
began with riding lessons there when she was eight and has continued to take
lessons from every horse she comes in contact with. Laura gained much of her
professional experience working at a Thoroughbred breeding farm in West
Friendship, MD and through teaching and managing the stables at Greenwell
Therapeutic Riding center in Southern Maryland. After graduating from St. Mary's
College with a B.A. Degree in History, Laura realized that she needed to
incorporate her love of horses into a professional career. Laura completed the
training for her Level I certification in EAP through Eagala and plans to complete
Level II by June 2007. Laura is also pursuing a degree in Rehabilitation Sciences. |
